The 2026 Peanuts® Great Pumpkin 60th Anniversary Silver Round features a striking colourised design commemorating six decades of the famous Halloween television special.

The principal face depicts the silhouettes of Charlie Brown and Linus van Pelt standing beneath the warm glow of an enormous orange pumpkin moon.

The large circular pumpkin creates a dramatic focal point, with rich autumn colours contrasting against the dark outlines of the two familiar Peanuts characters.

The artistic composition captures the atmosphere of a Halloween evening and evokes the famous pumpkin-patch scenes from the original animated special.

The inscription “THE GREAT PUMPKIN” surrounds the central imagery, together with the anniversary dates “1966–2026”.

The opposite face features the official Peanuts® wordmark framed by an intricate pattern of engraved autumn leaves.

The fine leaf detailing adds depth and seasonal character to the silver surface, providing an elegant contrast with the colourised design on the other side.

Precious-metal specifications identifying the one-troy-ounce silver weight and .999 fineness are inscribed around the perimeter.

The round measures approximately 39mm in diameter and 2.98mm in thickness.

Peanuts® is one of the most recognisable comic-strip and animated entertainment franchises in the world, created by American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz.

The original Peanuts comic strip debuted in 1950 and introduced generations of readers to Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, Sally and other beloved characters.

The franchise subsequently expanded into television animation, feature films, books, merchandise and collectible memorabilia.

One of its most celebrated productions, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, premiered in the United States on 27 October 1966.

Produced by Lee Mendelson and Bill Melendez, the animated television special follows Linus van Pelt as he patiently waits in a pumpkin patch for the mysterious Great Pumpkin to appear on Halloween night.

The story combines gentle humour, friendship, optimism and the familiar personality of Charlie Brown and the wider Peanuts gang.

Its original soundtrack, atmospheric Halloween scenes and memorable storytelling helped establish the programme as a seasonal television tradition.

In 2026, the production celebrates its sixtieth anniversary.

To commemorate this milestone, an officially licensed one-ounce colourised silver round was released featuring silhouettes of Charlie Brown and Linus against a large orange pumpkin moon.

The design also includes the commemorative dates 1966–2026 and an engraved autumn-leaf reverse surrounding the official Peanuts wordmark.
