2025 Australia Double Phoenix Vivid 1oz .9999 Silver Coloured Coin in Card – Australia - The Perth Mint
The 2025 Australian Double Phoenix Vivid Coin is struck by The Perth Mint from one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver. Part of the Chinese Myths and Legends collection, the Vivid edition has a maximum mintage of 5,000 coins, with only 1,000 examples issued in the official illustrated card format.
Designed by Lucas Bowers, the reverse depicts two vividly coloured phoenixes gazing towards one another, representing harmony, unity and the belief that good things come in pairs. The artwork also includes the Chinese symbol for “double happiness”, stylised clouds, the 2025 year-date and The Perth Mint’s “P” mintmark. Dan Thorne’s effigy of King Charles III appears on the obverse.
The AUD $1 legal-tender coin measures 40.90mm in diameter, has a maximum thickness of 3.50mm and a minimum gross weight of 31.107g. It is presented inside a brightly illustrated red card featuring a fold-out stand for upright display. The coin and card are supplied ungraded, and minor production variations or light storage marks may occasionally be present.
