The 2025 EC8 St. Lucia Caribbean Reef Octopus Coin Bar is struck by Scottsdale Mint from one troy ounce of .999 fine silver. Limited to only 999 pieces worldwide, this official legal-tender issue has a face value of two Eastern Caribbean dollars and forms the eighth release in the EC8 St. Lucia series.
Its reverse features a vividly colourised Caribbean reef octopus moving through a detailed underwater habitat inspired by St. Lucia’s surrounding marine environment. The obverse carries the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank design and legal-tender inscriptions, while the unusual rectangular format provides an expansive presentation area for the colourful artwork.
Finished to Brilliant Uncirculated quality, the coin bar measures 50 × 29.2 × 2.36mm and has a reeded edge. It is supplied ungraded inside its original serialized Certi-Lock® packaging, which should remain sealed to protect the coin bar and its colourised finish. Minor production variations or light storage marks on the outer packaging may occasionally be present.
