Struck by The Perth Mint, the 2026 Australian Kangaroo is an internationally recognised bullion coin containing one troy ounce of .9999 fine silver. Issued as Australian legal tender with a face value of one Australian dollar, it combines exceptional silver purity with one of the country’s most celebrated wildlife designs.
The reverse features Stuart Devlin’s classic bounding kangaroo surrounded by stylised rays of sunlight, together with the inscriptions “AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO”, “2026”, “1oz” and “9999 SILVER”. The Perth Mint’s traditional “P” mintmark and a micro-laser engraved authentication feature are also incorporated into the design. The obverse carries Dan Thorne’s official Australian effigy of King Charles III.
