Unleash the power of one of cinema's most legendary Titans with the Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire – Kong 1oz Silver Round in TEP, an officially licensed APMEX-exclusive collectible released to celebrate the spectacular 2024 Monsterverse blockbuster. Containing one full troy ounce of .999 fine silver and limited to a maximum worldwide mintage of just 10,000 rounds, this striking release pays tribute to Kong, the enormous ape whose remarkable strength, intelligence and determination have captivated cinema audiences since his original appearance in the 1933 film King Kong. The character's modern adventures form an important part of Legendary Entertainment's Monsterverse, which brought together two of the most recognisable monsters in cinema history. Released in March 2024 and directed by Adam Wingard, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire follows the two Titans as they confront a dangerous new threat emerging from the mysterious Hollow Earth. This commemorative silver round celebrates the film's dramatic visual identity through authentic licensed artwork, genuine precious metal content and an original presentation inspired by its distinctive theatrical branding.

The obverse features an imposing image of Kong standing in a powerful, confrontational pose, his muscular body and rugged features carefully recreated through detailed struck silver relief. Behind the mighty Titan, angular rays extend outwards in a dramatic starburst arrangement, creating the impression of enormous energy and movement. The surrounding design remains comparatively restrained, allowing Kong's commanding silhouette to dominate the composition. The reverse features a distinctive footprint-shaped design incorporating the name KONG, repeated in bold lettering of different sizes and arrangements to create the impression of a massive Titan footprint. This inventive approach provides a visually striking contrast with the character portrait on the opposite side, while referencing the enormous scale and physical power associated with Kong's cinematic appearances. Both sides retain a traditional Brilliant Uncirculated silver finish, without applied colourisation, allowing the detailed engraved designs and reflective precious metal surfaces to remain the focus. The artwork is officially licensed and associated with Legendary Entertainment's 2024 film release.

Measuring 39 mm in diameter and 2.98 mm in thickness, this one-ounce silver round arrives in original Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire tamper-evident packaging (TEP), featuring a protective RF-welded transparent polymer holder and a dramatic dark presentation card. The film's official logo appears above the round in contrasting blue, orange and pink lettering, with the distinctive THE NEW EMPIRE subtitle completing the cinematic design. The presentation carries a © 2024 Legendary copyright, while the protective window allows collectors to appreciate the silver artwork without unnecessary handling. With a worldwide maximum mintage of 10,000, the Kong Brilliant Uncirculated edition is distinct from the separately issued 2,500-mintage colourised version, as well as companion Godzilla designs and other products in the wider collection. The round is privately produced silver bullion rather than an independently verified legal-tender coin, and APMEX's marketplace records attribute its manufacture to 9Fine Mint in the United States. Combining officially licensed Monsterverse artwork, impressive Titan imagery and genuine fine silver, this distinctive collectible makes an excellent gift for Godzilla and Kong enthusiasts, film memorabilia collectors and those seeking an unusual addition to their precious metal collection.
